The story of how Captain, a pit bull who had been abused, got a new life at the Humane Society of Sarasota County. HSSC offers top-notch medical care, foster homes for animals who need extra transition time, and humane education to teach the public about how to interact positively with animals. Captain is a great example of a success story at this awesome organization.
