Operation Eco Vets is a local nonprofit organization that offers employment and life fulfillment to military veterans experiencing PTSD or other negative effects from their service. The organization runs a permaculture farm that provides nutritious, Florida-native produce to the school at neighboring Easter Seals as well as landscape plants for sale to the public. Operation Eco Vets was honored and supported by the Sarasota Kiwanis Foundation in 2020. This video profile was created for the Sarasota Kiwanis Club’s 2020 virtual Veterans Day Breakfast event.
